Structural Work Takes Shape at 1020 W Randolph Street in Fulton Market

Structural beams for 1020 W Randolph Street in Fulton Market District are now reaching their final height. This five-story mixed-use development by L3 Capital will have ground-floor retail and boutique Class A offices on the upper levels. The amenity enclosure on the top of the building will be accompanied by a 1,850-square-foot rooftop deck. The 22,000 square feet of interior space features sleek finishes, living walls, and expansive warehouse-style windows.

808 N Cleveland Avenue Nears Full Height in Near North Side

Construction at 808 N Cleveland Avenue is progressing at a rapid pace in Near North Side. The 23-story mixed-use tower is quickly reaching its full height, and the structural work is almost finished. The 284-foot-tall tower is being developed by DAC Developments and is replacing a previous overgrown lot on a trapezoidal parcel.

A Final Look at the Completed 300 N Michigan Avenue in The Loop

The Loop‘s newest skyscraper, 300 N Michigan Avenue, is now complete. The 47-story mixed-use tower developed by Sterling Bay and Magellan Development Group features a retail base, a 280-key citizenM hotel on the lower levels, and 289 rental apartment units dubbed “Millie on Michigan.”

Construction Begins for 210 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market

The ever-growing Fulton Market district is now seeing another new addition, as construction has begun for a 19-story mixed-use building at 210 N Aberdeen Street. The 214-foot-tall structure, planned by LG Development Group, will sit on an L-shaped site and include 10,700 square feet of retail space and 363 apartment units. The scope and design have changed slightly prior to construction, having reduced the total units from 414 and the height from 239 feet.

Twin-Building Development “HUGO” Passes Third Floor in River North

Structural work on HUGO, LG Development‘s two-building project in River North, has now surpassed the third-floor mark. The development, comprising of two separate buildings at 751 N Hudson Avenue and 411 W Chicago Avenue, is expected to be completed in 2023.

741 N Wells Street Breaks Ground in River North

Yesterday, developer VISTA Property Group and its general contractor, Skender, broke ground on a new mixed-use high rise at 741 N Wells Street in River North. The 21-story, 201,000-square-foot development will yield a total of 168 apartment units. Located prominently at the corner of Chicago Avenue and Wells Street, 741 N Wells is one of the latest developments adding to the neighborhood’s recent uptick in construction.

Morton Salt Entertainment Redevelopment Opens to Public along North Branch Corridor

The redeveloped Morton Salt warehouse complex has opened to the public along the Chicago River’s North Branch corridor. The new office and entertainment complex within the shell of the former factory in West Town is a project by a development partnership between R2 Companies, Blue Star Properties, and Skydeck.

Cadence Apartments Receives Metal Paneling in Illinois Medical District

Under the new name “Cadence,” metal paneling is now being installed for the 11-story apartment building at 2050 W Ogden Avenue in the Illinois Medical District. The mixed-use development will include nearly 10,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, as well as 161 apartments on the upper floors. The residences will range from studios up to two-bedroom apartments.

1400 S Wabash Now at One-Third Mark in South Loop
