A construction permit has been granted for a new four-story building at 4706 S St. Lawrence Avenue in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood. The mixed-use development will feature five residential units above commercial space. The project’s listed owner is Bronzeville Corridor LLC.

It has been confirmed that SGW Architecture & Design is the architect for the project, but drawings or renderings have not been made available yet.

An integrated garage will provide parking, although the number of spaces has not been specified in the filing description. Nearby transit options include bus service for Route 47 at the adjacent intersection of 47th Street & St. Lawrence. Additionally, stops for Routes 3, 4, and X4 are within walking distance. The CTA L service is available for the Green Line at the 47th Street station via a nine-minute walk to the west.

G Corp is the general contractor for the project, with a reported construction cost of $2,700,000. No estimated completion date has been provided yet.
