Revised plans have once again been revealed for the proposed redevelopment of the Emmanuel Congregation campus at 5959 North Sheridan Road in Edgewater. Sitting right on the coast of Lake Michigan and surrounded by high-rises, the project has seen multiple rounds of iterations over the past few months, with the last update coming this past May.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the multi-phase Woodlawn Central development centered around the intersections of East 63rd Street and South Dorchester Avenue. The approval comes after more than four years of planning by the Apostolic Church of God, which is behind the proposal and occupies a large portion of the property.
The Chicago City Council has approved the mixed-use redevelopment of the historic fireproof warehouse at 3240 West Lawrence Avenue in Albany Park. Sitting west of the intersection with North Sawyer Avenue, we last covered the project in February when it received support from the local alderwoman for its rezoning.
The Chicago City Council has officially approved the mixed-use tower at 215 North Racine Avenue in Fulton Market. The approval comes on the heels of 715 Randolph nearby landing an anchor tenant, continuing to build the area’s skyline. Efforts for the project are being led by local developer Domus along with architecture firm Archeo Design Studio.
A timeline and anchor tenant have been announced for the upcoming skyscraper at 725 West Randolph Street in Fulton Market. The upcoming skyscraper has seen a small height bump since we last covered its conversion from residential to an office proposal back in 2023. Since then, developer Related Midwest has been seeking tenants to kick off construction.
