Plan Commission Approves Tower At 375 N Morgan Street In Fulton Market

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 375 N Morgan Street in Fulton Market. Also located at the address of 901 W Kinzie Street, the project will sit directly behind the Guinness Open Gate Brewery and replace a vacant lot. We recently covered the proposal when its application was submitted last week, now it has received its approval and developer LP Holdings 375 LLC can proceed with the Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture-designed tower.

Committee On Design Reviews Mixed-Use Woodlawn Social

The Committee on Design has reviewed the mixed-use development at 935 E 63rd Street in Woodlawn. Located on the intersection with S Ingleside Avenue and replacing a block-long vacant lot, the project was the winning entry of the Department of Planning and Development’s Woodlawn RFQ earlier this year. Dubbed ‘Woodlawn Social’, the proposal is being led by a team made-up of Tandem Ventures, KMW Communities, and POAH with KoningEizenberg and HED Architects as the designers.

Completion Approaches for 1135 W Winona Street in Uptown

The construction of the facade for the five-story mixed-use building at 1135 W Winona Street in Uptown is approaching completion. Now known as ‘The Sally’, the project by Cedar St. Companies follows their early project dubbed ‘The Draper’, located directly west across Broadway. With the other structure to be located at 1131 W Winona, both buildings in this second stage will rise five stories, containing ground-level retail spaces and 180 total residential units – 168 apartments and 12 townhomes.

Plans Revealed For Mixed-Use Development At Old Dinkel’s Bakery In Lake View

Initial details have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 3327 N Lincoln Avenue in Lake View. Located just south of the intersection with W Roscoe Street near the Paulina Brown Line station, the project will replace four existing buildings including the former home of beloved Dinkel’s Bakery. Now developer PCR Group has submitted a rezoning application for the Jonathan Splitt Architects designed structure.
