Construction is nearly complete for 160 N Morgan Street, a 30-story mixed-use tower located in Fulton Market District. Developed by Sterling Bay and Ascentris, the tower boasts a height of 350 feet and will provide 282 for-rent apartments atop two levels of retail. Initial construction permits have been approved for the first phase of the mixed-use Thrive Englewood development at 914 W 63rd Street in Englewood. Located on the corner with S Halsted Parkway near Kennedy-King College, the multi-phase project received City Council approval late last year and is now one step closer to breaking ground. Developer DL3 Realty has worked on similar projects nearby including the recently announced Washington Park National Bank building, and is working with Perkins + Will on Thrive’s design.

The first demolition permit has now been issued for a major new mixed-use development at 1200 W Fulton Street in Fulton Market. The development will replace a parking lot and three existing one-story industrial buildings with three structures, delivering 1.5 million square feet of space designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture. The developer, Fulton Street Companies, is partnering with Waterton, a local landlord company, and Harrison Street Real Estate Capital.
