Plan Commission Approves Mixed-Use Development At 301 S Green Street In West Loop

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 301 S Green Street in the West Loop. Located on the corner with W Jackson Boulevard, the new structure will replace a parking lot and one-story industrial building in the quickly growing area that has seen most of its growth north of W Randolph Street. Co-led by GSP Development and Golub & Company, the tower is being designed by Goettsch Partners who have made a new round of changes after input from various city agencies.

Initial Funding Approved For Mixed-Use Development At 3831 W Chicago Avenue In Humboldt Park

The Chicago Community Development Commission has approved initial funding for the mixed-use development at 3831 W Chicago Avenue in Humboldt Park. Located just east of the intersection with N Pulaski Road, the new structure will replace an empty lot and three masonry industrial buildings that currently occupy the space. Led by 548 Development who is working on similar projects through the Invest South/West initiative, the proposal is being designed by local firm Lamar Johnson Collaborative with the community in mind.

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved a mixed-use development at 1047 N Rush Street in the Near North Side. Located just south of the intersection with E Cedar Street, the new project will add some density to the quickly changing block that will see nearly every building replaced or remodeled in the coming years including the home of Carmine’s next door. The team at LFI Development is behind the proposal along with Booth Hansen serving as the architects.

Plan Commission Approves NOMA Mixed-Use Development In West Town

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved a large new mixed-use development using various lots in West Town. Spread across a total of five lots predominantly centered around the intersection of W Grand Avenue and N Union Avenue, the project looks to feed off of the upcoming demand created by the nearby casino as well as the growing West Loop neighborhood within walking distance. The multi-phase proposal is being led by Fulton Market stalwart Shapack Partners which partnered with local firm Eckenhoff Saunders and New York-based ODA, known for their deconstructed style.
