Construction for a new mixed-use development at 1043 N Rush Street in Near North Side is now above grade. The two-story project, led by L3 Capital, has enlisted GREC Architects for its design. The exterior will have tan brick cladding, dark metal accents, and arched street-level bays.
The mixed-use tower at 741 N Wells Street in River North is nearing the end of its construction phase, with the last of the facade installation now underway. Developed by Vista Property, the 21-story building spans 201,000 square feet and will feature 168 apartments atop 4,000 square feet of ground-level retail.
The sale of the land for the mixed-use development at 1234 W Randolph Street in Fulton Market has now been finalized. Located on the intersection with N Elizabeth Street and replacing a couple of commercial structures, the development can now proceed after originally being proposed as a hotel multiple years ago. Developers Azur Holdings and Golub & Company are behind the project with architecture firm SCB working on its design.
Updated details have been reviewed by the Committee on Design for the mixed-use development at 2033 N Kingsbury Avenue in Lincoln Park. Originally proposed late last year and revised earlier this summer, the new structure will replace a vacant lot adjacent to the future home of Lincoln Yards. Similar to the megadevelopment and another nearby proposal at 1840 N Marcey Street, Sterling Bay is behind this project which is being designed by local firm Pappageorge Haymes.
After the issuance of demolition permits for 323 N May Street and 315 N May Street, the Fulton Market District is set to clear the way for 315 N May Street, developed by the Texas-based Trammell Crow. The 26-story mixed-use tower, rising to 410 feet, will primarily serve as a commercial space with office areas and ground-floor retail.
