The tower crane is being installed for 919 W Fulton, an 11-story mixed-use development in Fulton Market. Under development by Fulton St. Co and JDL, the building ranks number 19 in our year-end countdown of the tallest construction projects in Chicago, with a height of 172 feet. Offering 409,000 square feet of space, it is primarily designed to accommodate office space above ground-floor retail.
The Thompson at Fulton Market Finalizes Construction as #22 in Year-End Countdown
Ranked 22nd in our annual tallest construction project list, The Thompson at Fulton Market is a 12-story building at 150 N Ashland Avenue, across from Union Park. Nearing the end of construction, this 154-foot development by Marquette Companies merges modern design with historical architecture, integrating a 1920s five-story brick building into its south side.
23rd Spot In Countdown Goes To Westhaven Park IID In Near West Side
Sitting at the 23rd spot of year-end countdown is Westhaven Park IID at 1959 W Lake Street in the Near West Side. The mixed-use project sits on the intersection with N Damen Avenue, across the street from the upcoming CTA Damen Green Line station. The project is a collaboration between Brinshore Development, The Michaels Organization, and Chicago Housing Authority, with LBBA Architectects working on its design.
