Located on a full block lot, the site is bounded by W Madison Street to the north, W Monroe Street to the south, S Peoria Street to the west, and S Green Street to the east. The project is designed by architect GREC Studio and co-developed by the John Buck Company and Lendlease.
Exterior work is wrapping up at 318 N Carpenter Street, a seven-story mixed-use building in West Loop‘s Fulton Market neighborhood.
Permits were recently filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 15 N Elizabeth Street in the West Loop area.
Construction is imminent at 2614 N Emmett Street in Logan Square, the site of the new Emmett Street Apartments. The prospective seven-story mixed-use building will have affordable housing. Located along N Emmett Street, the site sits at the corner of N Emmett Street and N Kedzie Avenue, stretching most of the block along N Emmett Street between N Kedzie Avenue and N Sawyer Avenue. The nearest public transportation is the Logan Square CTA L station, serviced by the Blue Line, located directly across the street. The 56 and 76 CTA bus lines are also accessible at the Logan Square stop. Emmett Apartments, LP is listed as the owner of the applications, with Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation as the developer for the project.
