The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 1234 W Randolph Street in Fulton Market. Located along the busy corridor just east of the intersection with N Elizabeth Street, the upcoming high-rise has gone through various changes to its podium after presenting in front of the Committee on Design late last year. Now developers Azur Holdings and Golub & Company are moving forward with the latest iteration of the SCB-designed project, which was originally pitched as a hotel replacing the two small commercial structures on site.

Updated Plans Revealed For Affordable Housing Development In Grand Boulevard

Updated details have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 4500-4556 S State Street in Grand Boulevard. Located between W 45th Street and W 46th Street, the multi-phase project will replace a vacant lot just north of the Colman School CPS offices and on the former site of the Robert Taylor Homes. Being developed by the Chicago Department of Housing (DOH) itself, the proposal has gone through a handful of revisions prior to their zoning application for the Brook Architecture-designed buildings.

A new zoning application has been submitted for the mixed-use development at 330 N Clark Street in River North. Located almost on Chicago river, the new building would rise in the small parking lot at the northeast corner of the existing Reid Murdoch Center. Although it was originally proposed in 2016, the project has received a handful of changes over the years as it has worked towards getting off of the ground. Now developer Friedman Properties is proposing another change to the HKS Architects-designed structure.
