Full Permits Issued for 210 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market District

As construction continues to makes rapid gains, full permits have now been issued for a 19-story mixed-use building at 210 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market. LG Development Group has planned to construct a 214-foot-tall structure that will sit on an L-shaped site. The building will include 10,700 square feet of retail space and 363 apartment units. The scope and design have changed slightly prior to construction, having reduced the total units from 414 residences and the height from 239 feet.

Construction Permits Issued For Mixed-Use Development At 5159 N Lincoln Avenue In Lincoln Square

Initial construction permits have been issued for the mixed-use development at 5159 N Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Square. Located on the southeastern corner with W Foster Avenue, the new structure will replace a currently vacant lot that up until recently held multiple one-story commercial buildings which were home to local stalwart Jimmy’s Pizza Cafe. Developer Grand Properties Acquisitions LLC is working with Chicago-based Hanna Architects, who designed a very similar proposal just up the street at 5214 N Lincoln Avenue.

City Council Approves Rezoning For 43Green Phase II In Bronzeville

The Chicago City Council has approved the rezoning for the mixed-use development at 301 E 43rd Street in Bronzeville. Located on the southeast corner with S Prairie Avenue, the proposal replaces an existing commercial building with the second phase of the 43Green project for which Chicago YIMBY was able to speak with the architects last month. Developers P3 Markets and The Habitat Company are working with local designers Moody Nolan and Landon Bone Baker on the new affordable structure.
