Plans to redevelop the first floor of the former Maybelline headquarters at 5920 N Ridge Avenue in Edgewater are now moving forward. Sitting on the intersection with N Clark Street, the flat-iron style building currently holds residential units on its top floors. The project is being led by Ernst Development and Envoi Partners.
The updated plans for the mixed-use development at 170 N May Street and 175 N Racine Avenue, as well as a revision for the lot at 210 N Racine Avenue, will head to this month’s Plan Commission meeting. Located along the intersection with W Lake Street within the Fulton Market District, the multi-phase project was initially revealed over four years ago with a different design.
Further details have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 6750 N Northwest Highway in Edison Park. Located near the intersection with N Oshkosh Avenue, these new details come as the project’s developer, Valdir Barion under Redstars Properties, has submitted a zoning application.
Renderings have been revealed for the first phase of the Legends South development at 4520 S State Street in Grand Boulevard. Located between W 45th Street and W 46th Street, TIF funding was just approved by the Community Development Commission this week. Leading the efforts are co-developers The Michaels Organization and Brinshore Development.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the potential mixed-use development at 345 N Aberdeen Street in the West Loop. Rising on the intersection with W Carroll Avenue, the structure would replace the former Cougle Commission factory as developer Sterling Bay looks to shed the site.
