The filing’s listed owner is 1024 Altgeld LLC, with plans for two total dwellings, a basement, rear open decks on the first floor, and a rooftop deck area with pergolas and a stair enclosure. Residents will also have access to a two-car detached garage with a separate rooftop deck.

Construction is now above street level for Inspire West Town, an eight-story mixed-use development by Bond Companies located at 1140 W Erie Street. The 108-foot-tall West Town development will house ground-level retail and a total of 113 rental units. Six of these units will be affordable, while an additional 17 will be provided off site under the Affordable Requirements Ordinance.
Demolition permits were recently issued for a single-story masonry building at 1844 N Damen Avenue in Wicker Park. M15 Land Investment Inc is the listed owner, whose exact plans have not yet been revealed.
Exterior walls have climbed another level for 15 N Elizabeth Street near the western edge of West Loop. The underway five-story condominium building is a three-part effort under the name 15 N Elizabeth LLC, which consists of Ranquist Development Group, Jodi Development, and Campbell Coyle.

Filed under the owner James Nahon, the three-dwelling project will also feature a detached garage and replace a portion of a large grass plot. The other half of this parcel will be occupied by a similar-scale development with the address 4105 S Prairie Avenue. However, permits for this second building have not yet been issued.
