The development is a joint-partnership between Sterling Bay and Magellan Development Group, whose plans entail a combination of retail in the base, a hotel on floors six through 15, and apartments on floors 17 through 45.

Permits were approved this week for a new four-story residential building planned by Full Circle Communities Inc, located at 6009 W Lawrence Avenue in Portage Park. The developer’s plans comprise of 22 total dwellings, ground-floor amenity space, and a rear parking lot with 21 parking spaces and one loading zone. The construction is set to replace a vacant grass lot, so no additional demolition permits are needed.
