Final touches are in progress for Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation’s Emmett Street Apartments, situated at 2602-38 N Emmett Street in Logan Square. With a reported construction price tag of $40 million, the seven-story edifice provides 4,300 square feet of retail, along with 100 affordable units on the upper floors. Of these units, half will be available to Section 8 Chicago Housing Authority voucher holders, while the remaining are available via the application process.

It’s official: Salesforce Tower Chicago is now the tallest in Hines‘ three-tower Wolf Point megadevelopment. The core of this 60-story mixed-use building now stands at roughly 740 feet, having surpassed the neighboring 679-foot-tall Wolf Point East in recent weeks. Addressed as 333 W Wolf Point Plaza, this rapidly ascending structure marks the larger development’s final stage, following the completion of the aforementioned Wolf Point East in 2020 and the third, 500-foot-tall Wolf Point West in 2016. The current construction’s final height will reach 835 feet above the river walk and 813 feet above street level, making a topping out likely for within the coming months.

Final touches for both interior and exterior work can be seen at the 2740 North Spaulding Avenue (filed under 2755 N Milwaukee Avenue) in Logan Square. R.P. Fox & Associates is the developer behind the six-story mixed-use building, whose interior programming involves ground-level retail split into five segments, along with 60 apartments on the upper floors. Prior to demolition and subsequent construction, the roughly half-acre property was occupied by a single-story bakery and a parking lot.
