The construction comprises of two six-story buildings under the addresses 2310 S State Street and 2344 S State Street. McCaffrey and The Community Builders‘ plans for this initial stage comprise of a total of a total of 206 mixed-income apartment units and ground-level retail, divided evenly between the two mirrored structures.
Facade work is approaching completion at Southbridge Phase I, which comprises of two six-story buildings located at 2310 S State Street and 2344 S State Street in Chicago’s Near South Side. Developed by McCaffrey and The Community Builders, each building will offer ground-level retail and 103 mixed-income apartments on the upper floors. Amenities will comprise of a fitness center, a community dining space, and multiple outdoor terraces with city views. Parking will also offer surface-level spaces located in the rear.

The nearest public transportation is the 29 CTA bus route, running past the development on S State Street, with stops at 23rd and 24th Streets. The Cermak-McCormick Place CTA L station, serviced by the Green Line, is a five-minute walk away from the site.
