These two new Lake View residences, located at 1225 and 1227 W School Street, will each stand three stories and will be designed by Laszlo Simovic Architects, LLC. As noted in permit descriptions, features for these houses will include basements, five-foot high fences, and two-car frame garages with rooftop decks.

Standing 495 feet in height, this 43-story structure is among the tallest west of the Kennedy Expressway. Built by Related Midwest, ‘The Row’ represents an investment close to $200 million. It holds 300 residential units, with a noteworthy 20 percent designated as affordable housing. Also integrated into the design is a 146-vehicle garage.
A full construction permit has been issued for the residential development at 1700 S Wabash Avenue in South Loop. This project will rise on a previously vacant lot just north of the intersection with E 18th Street and adjacent to the CTA tracks.
The exterior construction of a five-story mixed-use building is wrapping up at 7006 N Glenwood Avenue in Rogers Park. This building stands at the crossroads of N Glenwood Avenue and W Lunt Avenue. The 96 CTA bus stop is located at this intersection, and the Morse CTA L station, serviced by the Red Line, is just a block away.
A construction permit has been issued for a mixed-use building at 2052 W 21st Street in Pilsen. This four-story structure will feature a basement and a ground-floor retail space with an attached two-car garage. Above this retail space, three residential units will be provided. Additionally, the design will include three rear metal balconies, two rooftop stairway enclosures, a front metal entry ramp, and rear concrete steps with an additional parking stall accessible from the alley.
