A three story construction project at 935 W Webster Avenue in Lincoln Park has now topped out. Mavrek Development is overseeing this mixed-use redevelopment, which builds upon the existing one-story structure that was once home to the State restaurant. The redesigned building will incorporate four new apartment units above retail space on the first floor.
Sushi Taku has already signed as the first tenant, occupying 4,000 square feet along West Webster Avenue. Additionally, a 3,500-square-foot corner retail unit is still available. The residences will all be duplexes with 20-foot ceilings in each of the living rooms.

360 Design Studio designed the building, opting for white brick on the ground level. Meanwhile, the upper two floors will be clad in a dark masonry.
For transit, bus service for Route 37 available at the adjacent corner. Fullerton Station is within a six-minute walk, offering access to the Brown, Purple, and Red Lines.
Mavrek Development is both the developer and the general contractor for this project, whose budget is close to $3 million. The timeline has been pushed back since our last update, with a likely completion by early next year.
