A new five-story climate-controlled self-storage facility is set to rise at 5251 N Kedzie Avenue in Albany Park, thanks to permits recently issued to Chicago Kedzie Self Storage LLC. The develop’s architect has been listed as Mark Sullivan, and is set to include an accessory office, will feature a type II-A construction, and will be fully sprinklered.

A new construction permit has been issued for a 3-story, 3-unit residential building at 4634 S Langley Avenue in Bronzeville. The owner, JacobDaBuilder is behind the project, which includes a rear patio on the first floor, and a rear porch with stairs on the second and third floors. Three exterior parking spaces will also be added to the property. Hanna Architects‘ design for the project has not yet been revealed.
Facade work is progressing for ZSD Corp‘s “Madison + Carpenter,” a six-story residential condominium building at 6 N Carpenter Street in West Loop. The 13-unit project will be replacing a former set of low-rise masonry buildings.
Woodlawn Station LLC has recently obtained two permits for the construction of new residential properties located at 6340 and 6342 S Drexel Avenue in the Woodlawn neighborhood. These two separate addresses will each be a three-story, three-unit residence. The proposed development will feature second and third floor rear open decks, rear concrete patios, and rear garages (three-car for 6342 S Drexel Avenue and two-car for 6340 S Drexel Avenue).
