Situated at 1700 N Hudson Avenue, the iconic residence was constructed in 1974 by renowned architect Walter Netsch for himself and his wife, the trailblazing Dawn Clark Netsch. While the house is nestled within the Old Town Triangle Historic District, it currently lacks official designation as a contributing structure.
Renovation permits have been issued for 3941 W Wellington Avenue, a four-unit residential building in Logan Square. The owner of the property is Matt Fisher, who plans to convert the existing two-story building into five units, per plans. The project received a zoning variation approval on November 21, 2022.
