Hubbard LLC, the top three office floors will be converted to six residential units, while the existing ground-level retail and basement will be retained.

Structural work has reached the 14th floor for Fulton Labs at 400 N Aberdeen Street, a specialized 16-story mixed-use office building tailored to bioscience and biotechnology. The project is developed by Trammell Crow Company in collaboration with Zoë Life Sciences, and is set to be the second installation of a 725,000-square-foot campus located in West Loop‘s Fulton Market District.

The owner Janusz Kaczor has planned three total units, as well as a three-story rear open wood porch and a two-stall open concrete parking pad. The new development is set to replace a currently vacant lot.
Construction is progressing rapidly for a 26-story mixed-use building at 1400 W Randolph Street. Planned by Marquette Companies, the West Loop tower is located at the intersection of Randolph & Ogden, and will provide both ground-floor retail and 278 apartment units. Resident amenities include a pool, a fitness center, a dog park, and various outdoor deck spaces.
Permits have been issued for a three-story residential building at 6447 S Ellis Avenue, located in Woodlawn. Owned by Mike Slazas, the planned project will contain four total units, along with a basement and a rear three-story open porch. The new structure is set to replace a currently vacant lot. However, given the larger size of the parcel and its current address of 6445 S Ellis Avenue, it is unclear if the owner will ultimately fit two new buildings within its bounds.
