Construction permits have been issued for a new one-story masonry retail strip at 2414-18 W Roosevelt Road in Tri-Taylor. Owned and developed by Jerry Tufano, the project will house a currency exchange at 2414 W Roosevelt Road and a retail space at 2418 W Roosevelt Road. The property is home to a currently vacant lot that once house a three-story masonry building, which was torn down about one decade ago.
Facade work has commenced for a five-story mixed-use building at 1135 W Winona Street in Uptown. This edifice is part of a two-part development phase known as “The Draper” by Cedar St. Companies. Both buildings will stand five stories and featuring a combination of ground-level retail spaces and 180 residential units in total, comprised of 168 apartments and 12 townhomes.
A permit has been issued for a new three-story, four-unit residential building in Bucktown. Located at 2329 W Fullerton Avenue, the project is being developed under the name 2327 Fullerton LLC. The site is currently a vacant lot.

A permit for a new two-floor, two-unit residential building has been issued under the address 1735 N Albany Avenue in Humboldt Park. Set to be both developed and built by BM UK Enterprise Company, the new housing will come with a rooftop deck and stair enclosure. The main structure will also be accompanied by a detached three-vehicle garage. Hanna Architects is the listed architect of record.
