Demolition permits have been issued for a trio of masonry buildings, ranging from one to two stories, under the address 1019 W Polk Street in Little Italy. Demolition at this site will help clear the way for a new three-story residential building to be addressed as 1021 W Polk Street.
Remaining brickwork is wrapping up for the mixed-use Southbridge Phase I in Near South Side. The construction comprises of two six-story buildings under the addresses 2310 S State Street and 2344 S State Street. McCaffrey and The Community Builders‘ plans for this initial stage comprise of a total of a total of 206 mixed-income apartment units and ground-level retail, divided evenly between the two mirrored structures.

Filed under owner Scott Stephen, the project will yield two total units, a rooftop deck, a basement, along with three on-site parking spaces. The new structure is set to replace a two-story frame residential building.
A portion of the structural and facade work is now above grade for 133 S Ashland Avenue, a planned four-story residential building near the southwest corner of West Loop. The development received permits in September 2020 under the owner name 133 Ashland Land LLC.
Work can now be seen above street level for a new four-story mixed-use building at 2111 W Caton Street in Wicker Park.
