A new retail showroom is coming to the ground floor of 1042 W Fulton Market in West Loop’s Fulton Market District. Set to reside in a five-story building completed in 2020, the showroom will be operated by Kvadrat Inc., a Danish textile company that specializes in high-quality fabrics and design products. The filing’s listed architect, meanwhile, is BE Architects.
As far as nearest transit to the venue, Route 8 offers additional bus transportation with several stops within an eight-minute walk on Halsted Street. The Morgan station, located a four-minute walk southeast, provides CTA L train service for the Green and Pink Lines. The Grand station, which is a 13-minute walk northeast, offers service for the Blue Line.
The interior alterations for the showroom will cost $277,174 and will be done by Summit Design & Build as the general contractor. As of now, a completion timetable for this buildout is not yet known.
