A construction permit has been issued for a mixed-use building at 2052 W 21st Street in Pilsen. This four-story structure will feature a basement and a ground-floor retail space with an attached two-car garage. Above this retail space, three residential units will be provided. Additionally, the design will include three rear metal balconies, two rooftop stairway enclosures, a front metal entry ramp, and rear concrete steps with an additional parking stall accessible from the alley.

Replacing an empty lot, the project is owned by Ashcer LLC and the architectural plans are the work of Craft Architecture LLC. Specific design details or renderings are not currently available.

Access to the CTA Pink Line can be found via Damen Station, less than a minute’s walk from the site. Bus service for Routes 21 and 50 are also available in under a five-minute walking radius.

Galiley Development Company is the general contractor, and the construction is reported to cost approximately $450,000. There is currently no announced completion date for this project.
