1950 West Dickens condos progressing towards fall delivery in Bucktown

A condominium building at 1950 West Dickens Avenue continues progress toward delivering new residential units to the Bucktown neighborhood this fall. A construction permit issued by the City of Chicago in September of last year, using the address of 1948 West Dickens, allowed Bak Home Development to get started on the four-story, five-unit project with general contractor Bachula Development on the build.

This four-story structure will feature a basement and a ground-floor retail space with an attached two-car garage. Above this retail space, three residential units will be provided. Additionally, the design will include three rear metal balconies, two rooftop stairway enclosures, a front metal entry ramp, and rear concrete steps with an additional parking stall accessible from the alley.

Construction has reached the third floor for a four-story condominium building at 2215 N Halsted Street in Lincoln Park. Prior to construction, the project site was occupied by a two-story brick building. Developed by 2215 Halsted Glascott FLP, the nearly completed replacement will include eight total residences, along with parking for 12 vehicles.
