A construction permit has been approved for a new commercial low-rise at 4015 W Cermak Road. Located in Lawndale, this development will replace the previously vacant lot owned by Mohammed Musa.

The location is near bus service, including Routes 21, 53, 157, and 392 all at the intersection of Pulaski & Cermak via a one-minute walk east. The CTA Pink Line is also within close proximity, with the nearest service being the Pulaski station, a four-minute walk north.

Building Solutions Tech LLC is serving as general contractor. The reported construction cost for the project is $400,000, according to the filing. Although an exact completion date has not been provided.

“commercial low-rise, one story masonry with 4 spots” Sooo, is that like a single store or a small strip mall??

Hi Steve, given the size of the lot it looks like it will be on the smaller end, not so much a large strip mall. We couldn’t find any additional information, but I’d imagine this will either be a single or double tenant occupancy
