Hyde Park Labs’ Steel Structure Ascends, Securing #17 Spot in Building Countdown

Steel is making its way up Hyde Park Labs, a 13-story building within the Harper Court Complex in Hyde Park. Ranking 17th in our countdown, this 215-feet-tall mixed-use development, located at 5201 S Harper Avenue, is a collaboration between The University of Chicago, Trammell Crow Company, and Beacon Capital Partners. Having topped out its core earlier this year, the $225 million project will offer 302,000 square feet of space. The structure is primarily intended for STEM-focused companies and includes lab and office areas, as well as 4,000 square feet designated for retail and various tenant amenities.
