Construction permits have been issued for a four-story mixed-use building, located at 1822 W Foster Avenue in Lincoln Square. The development will replace a previously occupying masonry structure, for which demolition permits were issued in October.
The approved mixed-use, two-tower development at 725 W Randolph Street takes the 14th spot in YIMBY’s Chicago’s Tallest Development countdown. Plans comprise of a main tower that will rise 550 feet and a second tower rising 250 feet on a full-block lot along the Kennedy Expressway. The site is bound on the other sides by W Washington Boulevard, N Halsted Street, and W Randolph Street. Related Midwest is the developer in charge of the project.
Construction has passed the seventh floor for a 16-story life sciences and biotechnology building known as Fulton Labs, located at 400 N Aberdeen Street in West Loop.
Construction permits have been issued for a large four-story mixed-use building, located at 336 E Pershing Road in Douglas. The developer, filed under McBrearty Construction Company, is planning ground-floor parking and offices, with 49 apartments above. Details regarding amenities or other features have not been announced.
