Fifth story being added to Adler & Sullivan’s 310 North Peoria

At 310 North Peoria Street in the Fulton Market District, a fifth story is being added to the former Wolf, Sayer, and Heller warehouse building. Designed by Adler & Sullivan, the building is being preserved and renovated as part of a mixed-use development that will include a hotel on the current Fulton Market Kitchen site at 311 North Sangamon. Renovations include adding a restaurant with outdoor dining space at street level, plus a lobby that will eventually connect to the future hotel.

City Council Approves Senior Housing In Chatham

The Chicago City Council has approved the mixed-use building at 8340 S Martin Luther King Drive in Chatham. Located just south of the intersection with E 83rd Street, the proposal will be replacing a long term vacant lot. Efforts on the project are being led in collaboration by ZPACT Developers LLC, SPM Properties & Development, and Park Manor Christian Church.

Steel endoskeleton begins to form at Second Church of Christ, Scientist renovation in Lincoln Park

A steel framework is forming inside the shell of the Second Church of Christ, Scientist in Lincoln Park. That’s where Ogden Partners is developing a six-story building containing 22 three-bedroom units while saving the west, south, and east façades of the 120-year-old church. The church, at 2700 North Pine Grove Avenue, has been holding its services and meetings on Zoom, but will occupy 4,700 square feet of ground-floor space in the new building upon its completion.

Funding Partially Approved For LeClaire Courts Redevelopment In Garfield Ridge

Initial financing has been approved for the second-phase of the LeClaire Courts redevelopment at 4458 S Cicero Avenue in Garfield Ridge. The approval came from the Community Development Commission who granted the project $5.5 million in Tax Increment Financing (TIF). The multi-phase proposal is being led by developers The Habitat Company and Cabrera Capital Partners, with SCB working on its design.
