Much of the glass has been installed on Wrigleyville‘s 1111 W Addison Street, where West Addison Development has planned a four-story climbing and bouldering facility with three retail units at the ground floor.
Zoning has been approved for the adaptive reuse of the former Morton Salt Warehouse Complex. Located at 1357 N Elston Avenue in West Town, the former manufacturing complex is bound by the north branch of the Chicago river to the east, N Elston Avenue to the west, and W Blackhawk Street to the north. Blue Star Properties is developing the project in collaboration with R2 Companies.
Construction is now above ground level with crane installation complete for 1045 on Fulton Market. When YIMBY last reported on the progress of the Fulton Market 12-story office development, site excavation was underway. Officially addressed as 1045 W Fulton Market, the project has previously filed permits under 237 N Aberdeen Street and was listed as 1043 W Fulton Market.
Renderings have been revealed for a five-story mixed-use development located at 1317 N Western Avenue in Wicker Park. Located along N Western Avenue, the vacant mid-block lot was previously a used car sales lot. Fulton Grace Realty is the developer behind the proposal.
Installation of white metal panels can be seen at The Bentham, a 14-story mixed-use development at 146 W Erie Street near the center of River North. Sedgwick Development is responsible for the planning and design of the tower, which will include a podium with 2,556 square feet of retail at ground level and 46 parking spaces on the first through third floors. Floors four through fourteen will house 31 residential condominium units, each consisting of three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The project is set to replace a single-story auto body shop that was demolished in 2017.
