Structural work is close to topping out at 800 W Fulton Market, where developer Thor Equities has planned an 18-story office tower yielding a total 472,000 square feet. Since the last construction update, two of the final floors have been added and work has begun on the glass and brick facade.
Recent renderings via Alderman Reilly’s office show a 15-story office building proposed for 601-611 W Randolph Street in West Loop Gate.
Construction is far along on the residential development at 816-826 W Cullerton Street in Pilsen. The project is made up of three parcels with three buildings at 816 W Cullerton Street, 822 W Cullerton Street, and 826 W Cullerton Street. The site is located along W Cullerton Street between S Peoria Street and S Jourdan Court, just off of S Halsted Street. Public 2, LLC is listed as the owner behind the permits.
The Zoning Board of Appeals has granted zoning approval for a co-living development at 123 W Chicago Avenue in River North. Located at the southeast corner of W Chicago Avenue and N LaSalle Drive, the residential project is on a corner lot. The site is within a three minute walk of the Chicago CTA L station, serviced by the Brown and Purple Lines. According to the zoning applications, the owner of the project is BRP LaSalle LLC, but reports have noted Bucksbaum Properties as the developer, working with co-living firm Common.
