The Chicago City Council has approved the mixed-use development at 345 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market District. Announced earlier this year, the project will replace the former Cougle Commission Factory on the intersection with W Carroll Avenue. The property is currently owned by Sterling Bay who pursued the approval as part of a sales package for the site.
New details have been revealed for mixed-use development at 37 S Sangamon Street in the West Loop. Located on the northeast corner with W Monroe Street and replacing a vacant lot, the development team has come back with a completely new design. Said team is composed of local developer Fern Hill and Free Market Ventures.
Initial renderings and plans have been revealed for the massive redevelopment of the United Center parking lots in the Near West Side. Roughly bound by S Damen Avenue to the west and S Paulina Street to the east, the multi-phase project has been years in the making. Efforts for the masterplan are being led by the Reinsdorf and Wirtz families, owners of the Bulls and Blackhawks respectively.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 170 N May Street and 175 N Racine Avenue in Fulton Market. Bound by W Lake Street to the north, the multi-phase project will replace a now vacant lot that previously held a commercial structure. Efforts for the project are being led by Chicago-based LG Development.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the updated plans for 1016 W Jackson Boulevard in the West Loop. Replacing a five-story office building and a two-story commercial building, the project expanded in size recently and needed new approval. This proposal is being led by Mavrek Development, with Eckenhoff Saunders serving as the architects.
