Details have been revealed for a mixed-use development at 3318 W Montrose Avenue in Albany Park. Located on the northeast corner with N Christiana Avenue, the project would replace a vacant lot near the Kimball Brown Line stop. The proposal is being brought forward by Yuriy Chvyrenko with Hanna Architects working on its design.
The construction of a new 19-story mixed-use development, named Coppia, is advancing towards completion at 1101 W Van Buren Street in the West Loop area. The project, overseen by Pizzuti Development, occupies a previously vacant lot, bordered by residential buildings.
A groundbreaking has been held for the mixed-use affordable development at 3401 W Ogden Avenue in North Lawndale. Known as ‘Grace Manor’, the proposal will rise on the corner with S Homan Avenue and replace a parking lot commonly used by the nearby police station. The project is being led by co-developers East Lake Management and Jerusalem CDC, with local architecture firm JGMA having worked on its design.
The construction of a 16-story mixed-use building at 311 W Huron Street in the River North neighborhood is nearing the completion of its facade. Ranked number 15 in our construction countdown, this building, developed by North Wells Capital, is now topped out at 226 feet tall. Designed primarily for office spaces, it will also accommodate 8,482 square feet of retail space.
