City Club Apartments MDA Phase II Wraps Up Facade in The Loop

Final exterior touches are underway for City Club Apartments MDA Phase II, a seven-story mixed-use addition to the existing 24-story MDA Tower. Located at 60 E Benton Place in The Loop, this two-building complex is owned by City Club Apartments, whose plans for the new building involve ground-level retail and 81 apartments. These added residences will comprise of studios, one-bedrooms, and larger penthouses, bringing the total unit count for the complex to 271.

Exterior work is nearing completion for a four-story apartment building known as “the Winnie,” located at 4750 N Winthrop Avenue in Uptown. Cedar St. Companies is behind the project, which will include 84 total units, 57 of which will be studios. While not indicated in the permits, the developer’s website mentions that there will also be 9,470 square feet of commercial space at ground level.

Final exterior touches are wrapping up at 167 N Green Street, a 17-story mixed-use development located in West Loop‘s Fulton Market neighborhood. Co-developed by Focus and Shapack Partners, the 290-foot structure will house a mix of office space, tenant amenities, and a retail portion in its base. This retail portion is one of the most notable features within the building, whose 30,000 square feet of mercantile space lining a ground-level corridor known as “The Mews”. This corridor also contains access to the office lobby and open space for temporary “pop-up” retail.
