Visionary Rehabbing & Real Estate got two permits on March 11 to erect three-story, three-unit homes at 1231 and 1233 South Kedvale. This is their third project on the block; they received a three-flat permit for 1249 South Kedvale in January of last year.

Trio of Three-Unit Residences Permitted On North Monticello Avenue In Humboldt Park

A private local developer has received three permits to construct three-unit residential buildings on North Monticello Avenue in Humboldt Park. The contiguous lots, at 651, 655, and 657 North Monticello, all vacant, stand on the corner with West Huron Street. All three permits were applied for on May 2 of last year, and they came through on March 20 with reported costs of $290,000 apiece.

Variances And Permit Approved For Three-Unit Residence At 1337 South Talman Avenue In Douglas Park

A new construction permit has been issued by the city to erect a three-story, three-unit residence at 1337 South Talman Avenue in the Douglass Park neighborhood. The proposal went before the Chicago Zoning Board Of Appeals in January for a pair of variations. The board approved a variation to reduce the front setback from the required 15 feet to seven feet, while also reducing the lot area per unit from the required 3,000 square feet to 2,925 square feet.
