A permit to begin work on a new residential building at 1441 West Diversey Parkway in Lincoln Park was issued by the city on September 29. It allows developer Magnolia Assets LLC to erect a three-story plus basement, three-unit building they had applied to build just one month prior. The permit shows a reported cost of $900,450.
Work is approved to begin on a four-unit residential building at 1821 North Kimball Avenue in Logan Square. The entity of Kimball 1821 N LLC is the property owner. Panoptic Group is named as the general contractor, working with designs by Hanna Architects.
Residential construction has been approved for new homes at 4217 South Indiana Avenue in the Bronzeville neighborhood. Keaney Construction Group and affiliate Red Van Construction applied for a permit on April 14 of this year, and it came through on October 8 with a reported cost of $420,000.
The first two buildings of the LeClaire Courts redevelopment in Garfield Ridge have received construction permits from the City of Chicago. The Habitat Company and Cabrera Capital Partners are co-developers with Solomon Cordwell Buenz behind the architectural planning. The permits designate The George Sollitt Construction Company of Wood Dale as the general contractor.
More than 24 months after a new construction permit was issued to replace it, a 1905-built residence in Ravenswood has been reduced to rubble. Bricks to salvage and memories to cherish are all that remain at 4317 North Paulina Street ahead of redevelopment for eight new units on the site.
