Eight Units Begin To Rise Out Of Foundation At 4317 North Paulina Street

With foundation work and the basement level set, progress has moved to the first floor for the three-story, six-unit building at 4317 North Paulina Street in Ravenswood. The property, which lies in the northern panhandle of the Lake View Community Area, got its construction permit back in September 2023, but work didn’t get underway until demolition of a 1905-built greystone on the site was demolished in October of last year.

The Anderson Nears Its Debut At Clark And Leland In Uptown

Exterior work is nearing completion as The Anderson prepares for its grand opening in May at 4713 North Clark Street in the Uptown neighborhood. There was progress on balconies last week, but the more noticeable efforts were on the garage portion of the building off the alley in the back. It appears they got all brickwork done, with the installation of overhead doors coming soon.

Schaumburg Developer Scores Five North Lawndale Three-Flat Permits In One Day

A Schaumburg developer received permits to construct five three-flat residential buildings in North Lawndale on March 12. Using the entity of Missing Middle Chicago LLC, Alteza Group LLC will fill four vacant lots with the five buildings spread out over a six-block area of the neighborhood. All five permits were filed for between February 2 and February 10 of this year.

Excavation Underway For Two-Flat At 2130 South May Street In Pilsen

Excavation has begun for a three-story plus basement, two-unit residential building at 2130 South May Street in Pilsen. Included in the task is the removal of old foundations from the previous structure demolished in 2017. The most recent Google images of the property show the lot overgrow with vegetation, hiding the concrete remnants that need to be removed before the new basement can be dug out.
