Next Phase Of The Trieuth Permitted For Construction On North Lincoln Avenue In Lincoln Square

A new construction permit issued by the City of Chicago on January 28 will allow the next phase of development for The Trieuth at Lincoln Square at 5029 North Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Square. The permit had been pending in the Chicago Data Portal since August 2024 after zoning applications were submitted in December 2023, when the first two six-unit buildings at 5015 and 5019 North Lincoln were under construction. It comes through now with a reported cost of $5 million.

The City of Chicago issued a permit on January 27 that will allow the full construction of a six-story, 71-unit supportive housing development at 5300 South Calumet Avenue in Washington Park. The permit names Abrams Intergenerational Village as the property owner; that will be the name of the project, as chosen by developer The Renaissance Collaborative.

A 115-year-old greystone currently under renovations at 3726 North Racine Avenue in Lake View now has permission to replace a demolished garage with a two-story, three-car garage with an Additional Dwelling Unit on the second floor. A new construction permit, applied for on August 5 of last year, was issued by the city on January 13, and it includes a reported cost of $150,000.
