ANM Mechanical Services LLC is named as the general contractor, using designs by architect of record Angel Sida. The three-story, three-unit building will have a rear wooden stairway connecting decks on the first and second floors. No garage is planned for now, but three surface parking spaces will be added to the property. The construction site is a vacant corner lot formed by Polk Street and the north-south alley connecting Polk to Lexington Street to the north.

3214 West Polk Street is located less than a block from stops for the CTA’s Route 52 bus. A two-block walk west eads to Route 82 buses at Homan Avenue. The Route 7 Harrison bus is available three blocks north, and just north of those stops is the Kedzie-Homan Blue Line platform at the Eisenhower Expressway.
