Three concrete columns are rising at 537 West Drummond Place in Lincoln Park, as construction progress goes 3-D on a residential development from Moyer Properties. A new construction permit was issued by the City of Chicago to get work started on August 21, 2022, with general contractor Summit Design + Build finally able to break ground this past winter after starting site prep in the fall.
Construction can begin for a three-flat at 4841 South Prairie Avenue in Bronzeville, now that developer Jack Properties LLC has a permit to get started. Issued On April 15, about six weeks after an application was filed on March 5, the permit shows a reported construction cost of $420,000. The new homes will replace a long-vacant grass lot with the Green Line elevated tracks passing overhead behind it.
Construction has risen above street level on the residential development at 3605 North Ravenswood Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. Crews from general contractor and co-developer Macon Construction Group have reached the second level of the future six-story building, located on the northeast corner of Ravenswood Avenue and Addison Street.
A permit was issued by the city on April 14 to erect a three-story with basement, four-unit residential building at 1910 North Kedzie Avenue in Logan Square. The entity of 1910 North Kedzie LLC filed an application for the new construction on February 25, using designs by Hanna Architects and R.E.A.S. Corp of Wheeling, IL as the general contractor. The permit comes with a reported construction cost of $1.42 million.
A foundation is being dug out, and piles have been driven into the ground, for the new residential development at 4529 North Western Avenue in Lincoln Square. Two structures with dwelling units and commercial spaces at 4529 and 4531 were demolished in October of last year to clear the site for the project. Western Front LLC, an entity registered in Buffalo Grove, is the developer.
