Exterior work is nearing completion on the Rush North and Harlem Outpatient Center, located at 1625 North Harlem Avenue, in the Austin Community Area. General contractor Novak Construction continues adding detail outside the building, even as work ramps up on the medical facilities inside.
Foundation work has begun for a new residential development at 4454 North Western Avenue in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. Located on the southwest corner of Western and Sunnyside Avenues, it replaces a single-story building that was demolished this spring. The permit allowing construction to begin, issued by the City of Chicago on November 29, uses 2405 West Sunnyside Avenue as the building’s address.
A three-flat has begun construction at 1145 West 17th Street in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, and it appears to be someone’s passion project. Caroline & Evan’s Dream House is the entity listed as the owner of the property in the permit issued by the city on September 26 of this year. It replaces a two-story multi-unit residence that was demolished in May.
Construction is underway for Enclave Galewood, a residential development in the Galewood neighborhood at the western edge of Chicago’s Austin Community Area. Developers Harlem Irving Companies and Novak Construction got permits to build all phases of their project in late October of this year. Novak Construction is also the general contractor here; they are building designs by OKW Architects.
A 1903-built residence at 2924 South Loomis Street in Bridgeport is being doubled in size, thanks to an addition on its side yard next door. The existing three-story multi-unit building is also being renovated as part of the ongoing project. Prairie Home Builders is the general contractor.
