Construction progress continues at the 34-story mixed-use high rise located at 1114 W Carroll Avenue in Fulton Market, with the crane now installed and the central core rising above street level. Trammell Crow Company is developing the 379-foot-tall project, which will replace a former truck rental center and parking lot at the corner of Carroll Avenue and May Street. The development is adjacent to the proposed 315 N May Street, a 410-foot-tall office tower expected to break ground later this year.

Facade Goes Up at “Arthur On Aberdeen” in Fulton Market

Facade work is rapidly advancing for a 19-story mixed-use development that at 210 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market. Planned by LG Development Group, the 420,000 square-foot “Arthur on Aberdeen” is set to occupy an L-shaped footprint on the block bound by Aberdeen Street to the east and May to the west. The core programming will consist of 363 residential units and 10,000 square feet of retail.

This joint venture between Sterling Bay and Ascentris now stands its full 350 feet in height and is set to feature 282 rental apartments situated above 2,657 square feet of retail space.

City Council Approves 415 N Sangamon Street in Fulton Market

The Chicago City Council has granted final approval for the mixed-use development at 415 N Sangamon Street in West Loop’s Fulton Market, following February’s approval by the Chicago Plan Commission. Situated at the northeast corner of the intersection with W Kinzie Street, the project will showcase a green design and high-tech facade. Fortem Voluntas Partners, the developer behind the proposal, is forging ahead with this angular tower, which was designed by the Chicago-based firm Eckenhoff Saunders Architects.
