Residing in the former Pennsylvania Railroad terminal building, the expansive 15,000-square-foot space has undergone significant internal and external renovations, with much of the non-load-bearing walls removed. The new layout will feature a coffee shop collaborating with Intelligentsia Coffee, which will serve coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods.

The venue’s interior showcases a spacious dining area centered around a bar. Suspended above this bar, a harp-shaped wooden chandelier adorned with plants is a focal point. The design displays an industrial-inspired blend of brick, metal, and concrete elements. A transparent glass partition will also showcase the brewing process. On the outside, the brick facade has been painted a dark gray, with additional color accents reminiscent of the structure’s days as a street art canvas. The venue also comes with new landscaping and outdoor seating.

do we have to walkthrough the construction area to enter the facility?

  2. They really corporatized some of the best murals in Chicago to be paint splatters and brush strokes.

I know the structure needed some assistance, but there was 100% the ability to incorporate the city’s spirit in the final product.

I wonder where the next artist’s overthrow will take place. Pilsen has been holding out strong. West Loop is burning out and needs new flesh. Only a matter of time before the next victim…

First stop Baltimore, and now Chicago. Coming to a 15 minute city near you?

  4. Paint your mural on your own property. Otherwise, without permission from the property owner, it is vandalism.
