As the 30th tallest entry in Chicago YIMBY’s end-of-year countdown the approved 330 N Green Street, set to reach 288 feet in height, currently awaits groundbreaking in the Fulton Market neighborhood. Dubbed “The Porch,” Sterling Bay’s 20-story mixed-use development will provides a unique set of features that help blaze the trail for the 21st-century office block.
Work is rapidly nearing completion for a mixed-use, multi-building development known as 1100 W Fulton Market, located within West Loop‘s Fulton Market neighborhood. The project has been developed by Fulton St. Companies, with additional backing from Huizenga Capital Management. Herman Miller, which recently began leasing the 1100 W Fulton Market property, will serve as the single tenant for the buildings. Herman Miller’s new space will include its retail offerings and a showroom on the first floor, and accessory office space on the floors above.
Exterior work is nearing completion for 320 N Sangamon Street, a 13-story mixed-use building that has risen in West Loop‘s Fulton Market.
Construction is imminent for a 12-story office development at 237 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market, as fencing is installed and foundations permits are approved. The lot, also addressed as 1043 W Fulton Market, is bound between N Aberdeen Street and N Carpenter Street. The Morgan CTA L station, serviced by the Green and Pink Lines, can be accessed by a three-minute walk. The 8 CTA bus route, accessed at the Halsted & Fulton Market stop, is a seven-minute walk from the property. Fulton Street Companies is in charge of the development.
