Construction has begun for the fourth of five buildings at West Loop Collection, a condominium complex by POGN Development lying just west of Greektown.
Permits have been issued for a four-story residential building at 133 S Ashland Avenue in the West Loop. Located on a corner lot, the project will rise on the northeastern corner of the intersection at S Ashland Avenue and W Adams Street. The nearest public transportation is the CTA Route 9, accessed at the Ashland and Adams bus stop, located directly onsite. The Ashland CTA L station, serviced by the Green and Pink Lines, is a nine-minute walk away. 133 Ashland Land LLC is the owner of the project, with Tom Meador as the manager. The developer is reporting a total cost of $10,000,000.
The facade and other remaining construction work at 1100 W Fulton Market is steadily progressing towards the finish line. The five-story mixed-use development is located near the heart of West Loop‘s rapidly developing Fulton Market neighborhood.
Zoning has been approved for a new commercial development at 1200 W Carroll Avenue in the West Loop. The site is located along W Carroll Avenue, between N Racine Avenue and N Elizabeth Street, taking up most of the block on the northern side of the street. The northern edge of the site is bounded by the Metra tracks. The Morgan CTA L station, serviced by the Green and Pink Lines, is an eight-minute walk away. Sterling Bay is in charge of the development of the project.
