Renovation and construction work are rapidly taking shape for Fulton Market’s new Guinness Taproom. Coordinated by developer Fred Latsko, the project is an adaptive re-use of the former Pennsylvania Railroad Terminal Building at 375 N Morgan Street. A former destination for street art, the converted beer hub will yield a 10-barrel brewery, a pub, and a restaurant with local chef cuisine.
The front-facing street wall is undergoing final facade installation at CA6, Belgravia’s seven-story condominium development in West Loop. The development is set to house 72 total residences and is located at 311 S Racine Avenue, replacing a former single-story dance center.
Facade work is now underway at Tandem’s 1044 W Van Buren Street, a new 18-story rental residential tower in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. The 196-unit development will rise along the southern edge of the neighborhood, replacing a former vacant lot.
Structural beams for 1020 W Randolph Street in Fulton Market District are now reaching their final height. This five-story mixed-use development by L3 Capital will have ground-floor retail and boutique Class A offices on the upper levels. The amenity enclosure on the top of the building will be accompanied by a 1,850-square-foot rooftop deck. The 22,000 square feet of interior space features sleek finishes, living walls, and expansive warehouse-style windows.
Structural beams are approaching the final height for a new six-story residential building at 6 N Carpenter Street in West Loop. Real estate developer ZSD has planned for a total of 13 condominiums ranging between four- and five-bedroom residences. The project is replacing a set of low-rise brick buildings that were demolished last year.
