The corner site will be the newest Chicago location of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, the fast-serve chain based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This property had been vacant for several years following the demolition of a deteriorated one-story masonry building.

Located on the northwest corner with S Morgan Street, the proposal will replace a five-story office building and a two-story commercial building. Developer Mavrek Development has been leading the efforts with Eckenhoff Saunders serving as the architects.
