New details have been revealed for mixed-use development at 37 S Sangamon Street in the West Loop. Located on the northeast corner with W Monroe Street and replacing a vacant lot, the development team has come back with a completely new design. Said team is composed of local developer Fern Hill and Free Market Ventures.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the updated plans for 1016 W Jackson Boulevard in the West Loop. Replacing a five-story office building and a two-story commercial building, the project expanded in size recently and needed new approval. This proposal is being led by Mavrek Development, with Eckenhoff Saunders serving as the architects.
One month after receiving a permit from the City of Chicago to complete construction, 220 North Ada progress has reached the underside of the fourth level. And on July 8, a permit for Phase 2 was issued for the project’s tower crane. That means once the concrete core has grown a little higher, concrete contractor Adjustable Concrete and GC Clayco will tie the crane into the core and insert a few crane sections into the “tower” segment for sufficient height.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the potential mixed-use development at 345 N Aberdeen Street in the West Loop. Rising on the intersection with W Carroll Avenue, the structure would replace the former Cougle Commission factory as developer Sterling Bay looks to shed the site.
New renderings have been revealed for the revised plans of 1016 W Jackson Boulevard in the West Loop. Located on the intersection with S Morgan Street, the project was originally announced in 2022 before being revised earlier this year. Developer Mavrek Development is leading the efforts, having submitted a zoning application earlier this year as well.
