Demolition is now complete at 166 N Aberdeen Street in West Loop, clearing the way for a new 20-story mixed-use tower by MCZ Development. Standing 241 feet to its pinnacle, the building will house a collection of retail, dining, and offices on the lower floors, with 236 apartments housed above. The project serves as the second and taller phase of a two-part plan, with the first building at 171 N Aberdeen Street completed in 2018.

Zoning has been approved for a mixed-use structure at 1340 W Washington Boulevard in West Loop. Located on the site of the Chicago Journeyman Plumber Local 130 UA campus, the structure will actually be located along W Randolph street, within the 4.1-acre larger campus addressed as 1340 W Washington Boulevard. The larger campus is bound by W Randolph Street, W Washington Boulevard, N Ada Street, N Ogden Avenue, and the recently-completed Plumbers Training Facility to the west. The development is being led by the Chicago Journeyman Plumber Local 130 UA and Chicago Title and Trust Company.

Final exterior touches are wrapping up at 167 N Green Street, a 17-story mixed-use development located in West Loop‘s Fulton Market neighborhood. Co-developed by Focus and Shapack Partners, the 290-foot structure will house a mix of office space, tenant amenities, and a retail portion in its base. This retail portion is one of the most notable features within the building, whose 30,000 square feet of mercantile space lining a ground-level corridor known as “The Mews”. This corridor also contains access to the office lobby and open space for temporary “pop-up” retail.
